Visualisation Services
Visualisations usually commence with the creation of a Command Turret. This defines the main perspectives of the organisation's operations and links their relationships. From these top views, users can drill down into representations of enterprise capabilities. For example the e-BV team have created a model of Megabank – an investment bank involved in global trade operations.
The Command Turret
Having created the top view, drill downs are outlined, each of which is modelled. Key to this activity is creating a model of the business process for products and services. The model logs how the work should be done, and how the supervisor should monitor the work, together with an escalation procedure.
This captures the procedures in the repository and they can be used for many purposes.
